2. General Information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the operation of this website, the processing of inquiries, or the fulfillment of legal obligations. Personal data is any information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a person.

3. Hosting and server protocols

This website is hosted on a bare-metal server that we administer ourselves. The server is located in a data center operated by Contabo GmbH; Contabo provides the physical server and network infrastructure but does not have regular administrative access to WordPress, the web server configuration, or our web server logs.

When you access our website, the web server processes technically necessary access data. This may include your IP address, date and time, the address accessed, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status, the referrer, and browser and operating system information. This processing serves the purpose of ensuring the secure and stable provision of the website, error analysis, and the prevention of misuse. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure operation of the website.

Regular server logs are stored for 30 days and then deleted. Longer storage only occurs if specific security incidents need to be investigated or if legal obligations require further retention.

4. Encrypted transmission

This website uses TLS encryption. This protects transmitted data from unauthorized reading and alteration during transmission.

5. Contact and contact form

When you contact us via form, email, or telephone, we process the information you provide to handle your inquiry and for any follow-up questions. For pre-contractual or contractual matters, this is done on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other inquiries, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the proper handling of your inquiry.

The data will be deleted as soon as the request has been fully processed and there are no legal retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage.

6. Technically required storage

WordPress and its plugins may use technically necessary cookies or similar storage technologies, for example for sessions, security functions, and administrative logins. These are not used to create user profiles. The legal basis is Section 25 Paragraph 2 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG); insofar as personal data is processed, additionally Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of the GDPR.

7. Analytics, advertising and social networks

We currently do not use any analytics or marketing services such as Google Analytics or social media tracking pixels on this website.

8. Recipients and order processing

We administer the operating system, web server, and WordPress ourselves. Contabo provides the physical server and network infrastructure. Personal data is only transferred to service providers beyond this point if necessary for technical operation or communication and if a legal basis exists. Service providers are bound by data processing agreements where required.

9. Your rights

Within the framework of the legal requirements, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. Furthermore, you can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible is, in particular, the one in your place of habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

We will update this privacy policy if the website, services used, or legal requirements change.
